Tirupati : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived at the famous hill temple in Tirumala on Wednesday. After being elected Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister in March, Chauhan reached the temple for the second time this morning and offered prayers.

The official said that the Chief Minister and his wife also participated in the Sunderkand parayana conducted by Vedic priests for the past four months to eradicate the corona virus epidemic from the world. On his way to the airport, Chauhan also offered prayers at the Padmavati temple in Tiruchur.

President Ramnath Kovind will come to Lord Venkateswara's residence on November 24 for a day pilgrimage to Tirumala. A press release said that a high-level meeting was held in Chittoor on Monday for the President's visit. The President is coming to New Delhi from November 24 in a special flight to the temple city of Andhra Pradesh. He will reach Renigunta Airport at 10.45 am. He then goes to Tirumala on the road. After resting at Padmavathi Guest House, Sri Kovind will offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara at 12.40 pm, official sources said here.

The President will leave from Tirumala to Renigunta airport by road at 3.15 pm, from which he will leave for Ahmedabad by special flight. The Chittoor district administration has made all the necessary arrangements for the President's visit to Tirupati. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan will reach Tirupati on November 24 and accept the President.
