Dubbag sub-poll result: After close contest with TRS, BJP wins MLC election

On Tuesday, BJP leader Raghunandan Rao won the Dubbak Assembly by-election with a margin of 1,470 votes. The BJP won the election by 1,118 votes, adding the Postal Ballot votes led by the TRS. Out of 1,64,186 votes, the BJP won 62,772 votes, TRS 61,302 and congress 21,819 votes.

The TRS was first ahead of the count, but later the BJP's vote number was higher. Raghunandan Rao has taken the lead in several rounds and finally won the TRS party. The victory was a surprise for the BJP and the celebrations began at all party offices in Telangana.

The Chegunta mandal of Siddipet district has decided the fate of the BJP and TRS in the Dabpak by-elections which the BJP has taken in the last four rounds. About 26,000 votes were cast in the town and rural areas, and 6,000 votes in the nursing zone. EVMs in four polling stations - Potharedipally's polling centre number 21, Atigadda Kishtapur 136, Surapalli 157 / A, Arepalli 188 were not opened due to technical flaws. 1,660 votes were cast in four polling stations.
