Comedian Bharti Singh has been in discussions. The house and office of Bharti and her husband Harsh Limbachia were raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Andheri and a small amount of ganja was found there. Bharti was arrested by the NCB after recovering ganja from her place. She had confessed of taking ganja during interrogation and her husband Harsh was also arrested after that. Both were later remanded to judicial custody for 14 days but both applied for bail which they have got now.
According to information received recently, on Wednesday night, the NCB has arrested the drug paddler Sunil Gavai who used to supply drugs to Bharti. He also used to give drugs to some other people and he has disclosed this. NCB has received 1.25 kg drugs from Sunil. He has revealed that he used to supply drugs as a delivery boy. It is also being told that his network was more active in West Mumbai and most of his clients are in this area. Bharti was arrested on 21 November.
The NCB allegedly took action against Bharti and Harsh after arresting a 21-year-old drug paddler in Khar Danda in the early hours of November 21. According to some reports, comedian Bharti and Harsh were named by a drug peddler during an inquiry by the Narcotics Control Bureau. After that, the house of both was raided.
