After the GHMC has weighed different options on conducting the elections, the state government seems to be in favour of continuing the election fever that began with the Dubbaka by-election campaign and ending the GHMC election process in mid-December. There are speculations that the GHMC will be issued notification for the diwali festival and elections will be held anytime between December 4 and 8.

The state cabinet meeting will be clear lying on Friday. This time the government does not want to give more time to the opposition. As far as the TRS is concerned, the initial exercise on the names of the candidates who will be fielded again has already been completed and who meditates on who to replace.

Meanwhile, the state Election Commission held a meeting with all political parties on Thursday and said it was ready to hold elections anytime.
