Yamunanagar: Chowmine sold on roadside stalls can be life-threatening for you. In Yamunanagar district of Haryana, two lungs of 3-year-old Osman burst after eating chowmien in the past. His body also suddenly began to turn black. When the family took him to the hospital, the doctors operated and barely saved Osman's life. Doctors say that the dangerous acid used for the taste of chow mien is dangerous for health.

The child's father, Manzan Hassan, said that Osman's health had deteriorated shortly after eating Chowmin. He was having breathing problems. After receiving a response from several private hospitals, they took him to the GABA hospital. Here, Dr. Nikhil Bansal and Dr. B.S. Gaba admitted Osman to the ICU and started treatment. The X-ray report revealed that osman's lungs had burst. Doctors have put him on a ventilator. The chest tube was inserted inside Osman by conducting a lung operation. He also had a cardiac arrest during treatment. The condition of the child admitted in the hospital for 16 days is now reported to be out of danger.

Dr. Osman, who treated Osman, said, "It is a B.S. GABA and Dr. Nikhil Bansal has informed that the use of hazardous acid for the taste of chow mien is extremely harmful for health. This acid not only damages the lungs but also sometimes increases the risk of liver and kidney damage.
