Patna: Due to the procession on Ram Navami, after Gujarat and Bengal, two parties came face to face in Sasaram, Bihar. Due to this dispute, there was stone pelting, vehicles were vandalised, and many hut-like shops were set on fire. The roads leading to Gola Bazar in the city are covered with bricks and stones. Tension prevails in the area, in view of which Section 144 has been imposed.

Sasaram's Gola Bazar, Kadirganj, Mubarakganj, Chaukhandi, and Navratna Bazar are completely closed. Collector Dharmendra Kumar and SP Vineet Kumar have reached the spot along with the police force. The police and administration said that the situation is under control, but the tension between the two sides still persists. Let us inform you that this incident happened two days before Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Sasaram. Shah's party will reach Patna on April 1 and Sasaram the next day.

Significantly, such a scene has come to the fore in many cities of the country on Ram Navami. This has created tension. There were reports of stone-pelting twice from Vadodara in Gujarat on Thursday afternoon. Thereafter, incidents of violence and arson took place in Bengal's Howrah and then Islampur in the evening. Not only this, but student groups also clashed at a university in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, just before Ram Navami, there was tension and violence in two districts of Maharashtra, Sambhaji Nagar and Jalgaon.
