Lucknow: After the survey of the disputed Gyanvapi Masjid of Varanasi, the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi issue is also gaining momentum. In the Allahabad High Court, plaintiff Manish Yadav has demanded a survey of the Idgah Masjid adjacent to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple through the Court Commissioner. The Mathura court has also accepted this petition and now the matter will be heard on July 1.

Actually, the petitioner Manish Yadav, Mahendra Pratap Singh and Dinesh Sharma had filed the same petition separately, in which the survey and videography of Idgah Masjid was done by appointing the court commissioner. This petition has been accepted by the court and all the litigants have been given the same date i.e. July 1. Devkinandan Sharma, the counsel for the petitioner Manish Yadav, says that the inscriptions inside the Idgah can be removed by the other party and the evidence can be destroyed, photography should be done in the presence of both the parties and all the facts to be collected. The next hearing in this matter will be on July 1.

Mahendra Singh, another plaintiff in this case, has said that, 'He had first given an application on 24 February 2021 in the Shri Krishna Janmasthan and Idgah Masjid case, seeking the appointment of a commissioner for videography, Place of Birth. No decision could be taken on it because of the Act, once again an application was given on 9th May 2022.
