Indore: The campaign to make Indore city silent city by March 2021 has been intensified. On this, Collector Lokesh Kumar Jatav, giving information about big experiment under this scheme, said - "Noise sensitive signal will be replaced by changing the traffic signal near the DRP line"

Even after the red signal by the drivers, if the horn gets praised, then the time of the red light will increase there. So the signal will not be green for a long time. At the same time, the drivers will get a lesson from this that they do not play the horn. Such a experiment will be done on more signals if the pilot project is successful. So that people stop playing the horn without any reason at the traffic signal.

In the first phase, 39 places have been identified and declared as silent zones. People will not be able to use horns, DJs and other noisy instruments at these places. For this, awareness campaign is also being run continuously. At the same time, punitive action will also be taken against those who make noise after this campaign. Anand Mahindra, the well-known industrialist of the country, has praised the ongoing campaign to make the city a silent city. He tweeted from his tweet handle and praised the work being done in Indore. He said that tweeting the work being done in Indore was motive- 'Ten years ago there was a lot of dirt in the city, but the changes in Indore in these years are fantastic and it has proved that where there is a will there is a way.'
