Amravati: Umesh Kolhe, a drug dealer, was killed in Amravati, Maharashtra. It is alleged that people of the particular community brutally carried out the incident with sharp weapons. In this case, the police have registered a case of murder and arrested 5 criminals.
Talking to the media, SHO Neelima Araj said that so far 5 criminals have been arrested in the case of the murder of Umesh Kolhe, but the main culprit is still on the run. The reason for the murder is not clear. Only after the arrest of the main culprit will the exact reason behind the murder be known. According to reports, on June 21, behind Ghantaghar in Amravati, Maharashtra, Umesh Kolhe, the operator of Amit Medical Shop, was returning home after closing the shop with his son and daughter-in-law. At the same time, three motorcyclists stopped them and attacked them on the neck with knives. Umesh fell down from the car in the attack. The criminals fled after executing the incident. After the incident, Umesh's son and daughter-in-law took him to the hospital in a bloodied condition, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
After the same incident, the police registered a case against three unidentified persons. The police arrested the three criminals within 24 hours. Two more criminals were arrested after the interrogation of the three, but the reason behind the murder is not yet clear. Umesh also had 35,000 cash at the time of the murder. It is surprising that the criminals did not loot this money from them.
After supporting Nupur Sharma, the doctor apologised:-
After the same incident came to light, there have also been reports of many people getting threats for supporting Nupur Sharma on social media. Amravati-based Dr Gopal Rathi said that there are reports that the drug dealer supported Nupur Sharma. He put the post on his status, after which many of his doctor friends and drug dealers also liked it. Some doctors have even had to apologise for supporting Nupur Sharma. Dr Rathi had also supported the post. Now he says that if the spirit of society is hurt by this, then he apologizes.
BJP leader from Amravati Tushar said that the death of drug dealer Umesh Kolhe was not an accident, but he was strangulated to death after coming out in support of Nupur Sharma. The culprits who were caught in this case have no old criminal record. The police are currently refraining from saying anything in the case, but the BJP has accused it of murder after he came out in support of Nupur Sharma. Tushar demanded that the matter be investigated by the ATS.
