Mumbai: Navneet Rana, now an independent MP from Amravati in Maharashtra, has backed Nupur Sharma over the war over Prophet Mohammad. Navneet Rana said that Nupur Sharma has apologised for her statement, and now the BJP party has also taken action against her, then why this violence now?  
 
Navneet said that political parties are spoiling the atmosphere of the country by using common people. When Nupur Sharma apologised for her statement, what is the point of committing violence by taking to the streets like this now? Further, Navneet said, "You take up any party. Everyone has once commented which is wrong. But the BJP is the only party that took immediate action and expelled Nupur Sharma. Navneet said that people have to understand that they are being misled and misused.''
 
BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma was suspended by the party for making controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad. But even after this, a large number of people protested outside the Jama Masjid in the national capital, Delhi, one of India's largest mosques, on Friday. Not only this, two persons were also killed in a protest in Ranchi in Jharkhand today.
