After Puja, now Devi Sri Prasad walked out of 'Valmiki'

Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar who is known for writing skills took almost two complete years to start his next film Valmiki.  This is an official remake of Tamil super hit movie Jigarthanda. The shoot of this film was started a couple of months back but the project is being let down by a few setbacks every now and then. Pooja Hegde has been roped in as the female lead, however, the actress later walked out of the film. Now, it is being heard that music director Devi Sri Prasad has also walked out and he is replaced by another composer, Mickey J Meyer.

 It is learned that the director has been miffed with the 'Maharshi' music director for belching out repetitive tunes.  So, the combination of 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Duvvada Jagannadham' couldn't be continued. Apparently, both Harish and Devi had creative differences which ultimately resulted in the exit of Devi. Eventually, the offer landed in the lap of Mickey, who is waiting for a big project for a long time. Valmiki team wrapped up Singapore schedule and the next schedule of the movie started in Hyderabad. The movie is produced by 14 Reels Plus, Valmiki is slated for September release.
