The very popular director Rohit Shetty is currently gearing up for his upcoming directorial titled Simmba. In the film, Ranveer Singh is playing the role of a police officer for the first time in his career and his character is named Sangram Bhalerao. Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is making her debut with this film. The film is slated to release on December 28, 2018. Now, there are reports , before the release of his film, Rohit has planned out his next film.

According to source, Chennai Express director will be directing superstar Akshay Kumar in his upcoming film. Most probably, The film is to go on floors next year in the month of May and June. The source also revealed that Akshay, who was planning to do Hera Pheri sequel next has given away his dates to Rohit. The reason being, the third instalment of Hera Pheri franchise has been delayed a bit.
