Sitamarhi : A strange incident has come to light from Sitamarhi in Bihar. In the wedding hall, the bride refused to marry. The matter is of Sonvarsha area. The marriage of the girl living here was fixed with the boy living in the area itself. The procession came on 17th May and the baraatis were welcomed. Varmala was also done with the whole ceremony. After garlanding the groom, the bride got down from the stage and went back. Because of this, the bride told her family members that she does not want to marry that boy. Even after repeated persuasion by the family, the bride came to the mandap for the wedding. Took two rounds with the groom. But, after this, she did not know from where the courage came and she announced in front of everyone that she will not take rounds anymore.

The boy is dark in colour and I will not marry him. As soon as she said this, silence spread in the mandap. After the refusal of the bride, people from both sides were stunned. Meanwhile, other people including the elders of the village involved in the procession started convincing the bride. On the other hand, there was concern that the procession should not create ruckus and the procession should not return. Therefore, some people from the marriage party were taken hostage by the girl. But, when the girl did not agree even after hours of persuasion, the people of the girl's side started demanding money and goods as gifts.

Seeing the progress of the matter, someone informed the police. Thereafter, SHO and co-trainee DSP Suchitra Kumari called both the parties to the police station. After listening to both the sides completely, he pacified the matter with the mutual approval of both the parties. On the other hand, the boy's father said emotionally that the marriage was fixed 4 months back. What happened suddenly? It is heard that the girl is having an affair with someone, that is why the marriage has been called off. The people of the girl's side had also taken the procession hostage. But, the police intervened. On the other hand social worker Virendra Kumar Yadav told that everything was going well. Varmala was also done, but due to rounds, the girl refused to marry. The matter was pacified after the intervention of the police.
