Bangalore: The rebel MLA from Karnataka, who is in Mumbai, will leave for Bengaluru after the BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa being sworn in as the Chief Minister. He said the MLA will leave Mumbai after Yeddyurappa was sworn in as the Chief Minister. The rebels had earlier denied that the BJP had any role in withdrawing their resignations and support from the government. Ahead of the crucial power test to decide the future of the Kumaraswamy government, Yeddyurappa had alleged that the ruling coalition was delaying unnecessarily despite knowing that the whip issued to the MLAs of the ruling coalition was of no use. The government was in trouble after the resignation of 14 rebel Congress-JD(S) MLAs. Kumaraswamy had 99 votes in favor and 105 against. Kumaraswamy then submitted his resignation to Governor Vajubhai Wala in the night.
