Patna: There was a commotion near Kargil Chowk at Gandhi Maidan in Bihar's capital Patna. When two criminals riding a motorcycle reached the petrol pump smoking a cigarette. When the petrol pump workers stopped from smoking cigarettes, both of them pointed pistols at the employee. An attempt was made to intimidate and threaten the petrol pump personnel. In an attempt to escape, the mob caught hold of the two criminals and handed them over to the police.
The arrested criminals have been identified as Mohammed Tahmiz alias Simmi and Mohammad Washim, both residents of Bakarganj under Gandhi Maidan police station area and Shabjibagh under Pirbahor police station area. Police said both are of criminal nature and have also gone to jail. All the employees of the petrol pump are in a state of panic since the incident.
Patna's Town DSP Ashok Kumar Sinha said that Mohammad Tahmiz had broken up with his girlfriend and was going to threaten his brother. In which his friend Washim was also with him. However, the two motorcycles arrived at the petrol pump of Bharat Petroleum at Gandhi Maidan to fill the oil. Due to this, the two got into a fight with the employee at the petrol pump over smoking cigarettes. Both of them tried to create panic by taking out pistols. Police seized 2 country-made pistols and 3 cartridges from their possession.
