Bhagalpur: The Nitish Kumar government, which claims to have worked on a zero-tolerance policy against corruption after the Bhagalpur bridge accident in Bihar, is under question. This is not the first case of negligence and corruption in Bihar. Now the incident of use of bad material in the construction of a hospital has also come to light. There are also allegations of rigging in the construction of a government hospital being built in Lalganj of Hajipur, adjacent to the capital Patna. A 30-bed government hospital was to be built in Lalganj at a cost of crores of rupees. The cost of this hospital is about Rs 6 crore 69 lakh. With this huge amount, a three-storey community hospital was to be built here.

The foundation stone for the construction of this hospital was laid in December 2022 and it was to be completed in June 2023. The foundation has just done work in this multi-crore building, whose quality is now being questioned. When there was a question on the spot about the substandard construction, the contractor and the engineer started looking at each other. The level of material that was to be used in this hospital, being built at a cost of crores,  it was erected by giving substandard rebars. Right now the foundation work has been completed and cracks have started appearing in the pillars. Saria has come out of the pillar.

At the same time, when the engineer at the construction site of the hospital was asked a direct question that poor construction caused accidents and people died, who would be responsible? On this, the engineer started apologizing. The foundation of this hospital, which is being built under the supervision of best designs and engineers, has been prepared in such a way that it seems that this building can not even handle the burden of walls. Due to this reality check, some people were seen on the spot, who were upset about the hospital being prepared in a substandard manner. Local people said about the hospital being built at a cost of crores that this hospital is not becoming a death item. At the same time, when questions were raised about the quality, the contractor and the engineer started blaming each other.
