Kota: A case of suicide by an Army jawan in the Kota district of Rajasthan has come to light. The army jawan is said to be Pappu Yadav. He laid a noose from a tree and died three days after his fiance committed suicide. Police said Army Kumaon Regiment jawan Pappu Yadav had come home on leave and had been under stress ever since his fiance committed suicide in her house.
Pappu Yadav was posted in Dehradun. Three years ago, he was engaged to a woman from Chittorgarh district. According to police, he went to a farm near his house in Deolikalan village of Chechat police station area on Monday morning and died hanging from a tree. The police station in charge Rajendra Meena said no suicide note was recovered from the body of the jawan. The body was handed over to his family after postmortem. Police are investigating the case.
