Noor Malabika passed away on June 6, but the news came to light four days later when the police recovered her body. Now, a statement from the actress's family has emerged.
The family has stated that Noor Malabika was in a state of depression, which led her to take the drastic step of ending her life. She was distressed over not being able to progress in her Bollywood career. However, Noor Malabika's post-mortem report has not yet been released. The post-mortem was conducted at the BMC's Siddharth Hospital in Goregaon.
Speaking to the media, Malabika Das's aunt, Aarti Das, said, "Noor went to Mumbai with great hopes of becoming an actress and was working very hard for it. We understand that Malabika was not satisfied with her achievements, which compelled her to take this step."
