New Delhi: Petrol, diesel prices were slashed on Friday after a two-day pause. Post today's price revision, petrol became cheaper by 20-21 paise across all major cities of the nation while diesel became cheaper by 21-23 paise per litre. In the national capital Delhi, petrol is being at Rs 68.44 today as against Rs 68.65 yesterday and diesel is being sold at Rs 62.44, as compared to Rs 62.66 on Thursday. Worth mention here that petrol is already at its lowest level in over one year while diesel prices are lowest since last March, 2018.

In the other two NCR regions, Gurugram and Noida, petrol is retailed at Rs 69.77 and Rs 68.74 respectively and diesel is priced at Rs 62.71 and Rs 62.10 respectively.

In Mumbai petrol is priced at Rs 74.10, came down 20 paise compared to yesterday's price of Rs 74.30, and diesel is priced at Rs 65.34, down 22 paise from Rs 65.56 on Thursday.

In the other two metros, Chennai and Kolkata, petrol is sold at Rs 71.01 and Rs 70.58 respectively while diesel in these cities is sold at Rs 65.91 and Rs 64.21 respectively.
