Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif also tested positive for novel coronavirus. The actress has been immediately isolated and is under the doctor's surveillance. The Hindi film industry is getting hit hard with this virus as the list of corona affected includes actors Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, and Bhumi Pednekar.

India on Monday has recorded 1,03,558 new active cases. The Mumbai-based entertainment industry, which was trying to return to normalcy post last year's nationwide lockdown, has suffered a major blow. The Sooryavanshi actress took to Instagram and confirmed her reports of coming in contract to coronavirus. She took to her Instagram story writing “I have tested positive for Covid-19.” Katrina further said: ‘Have immediately isolated myself as a concern to my health and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors." 

She also requested everyone who came in contact with her to get tested immediately too. Concluding her talk with her fandom she said "Grateful for all your love and support, please stay safe and take care."
