Rajinikanth, a well-known actor in the South Indian film industry, was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. When the actor reached his house, his fans started shouting Thalaiva. The video is going viral on social media with the speed at which his fans are gathering outside Rajinikanth's house. Fans are shouting slogans Thalaiva and Rajinikanth greeted all of them in his style.

On Monday, when Rajinikanth was receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, he said, "I have dedicated my award to Guru and Mentor K Balachander sir. I dedicate this award to my brother Satyanarayanrao Gaikwad who is like a father to me. He brought me up with moral values and infused spirituality into me. Rajinikanth also recalled his best friend Raj Bahudar, who first recognized his acting talent. He expressed his gratitude to all his makers, directors, technicians and his fans.''

 

Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Annaatthe' is releasing in theatres on Diwali on November 4. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Meen and Khushboo Sundar in lead roles. The film was officially launched in Chennai in December 2019. Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of a village president in 'Annaatthe.' It will be dubbed simultaneously in Telugu.
