Agra: Three people were killed in a tragic death when a house-run cracker factory exploded at Azampara in Thana Shahganj, Agra. Four others have been injured. The blast occurred at 12:40 p.m. Sunday. It is reported that leakage in LPG cylinder caused the fire and the fire further reached firecrackers which exploded.

The house where the blast occurred is a brand of fireworks in the name of Mughal fireworks, which is licensed by the village of Midhkur, the factory was being operated in Shahganj area. The explosion was so sharp that nearby houses were breached. The sound of the blast at Azampara in Shahganj was also stirred up in the adjoining area. The doors and windows of the houses located in the neighbourhood were also shaken. After which the blast was reported to the police and the fire department.

The fire tenders rushed to the spot to extinguish the flames. Superintendent of Police Pramod Rohan has informed about the incident and said that three persons have lost their lives in the incident and four persons have been admitted to the hospital. The formula points out that firecrackers were housed in the house, where the cylinder burst into flames and the house was ablaze.
