Agra: Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technology College (RBS) of Tajnagari Agra has taken action against three Kashmiri students for suspension. The suspended students have been identified as Arshad Yusuf, Inayat Altaf and Shaukat Ahmed. The action has been taken to celebrate Pakistan's victory over India in the T20 World Cup on Sunday (October 24, 2021). It is alleged that they had also raised slogans in support of Pakistan. Police have also registered a case against the students.

According to the report, the incident took place in the Bichpuri area of Agra. Here, some students of RBS College had posted a status on WhatsApp in support of Pakistan after India's defeat. Some students had objected to this. Even then, they did not remove it. The screenshot then went viral on social media. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (Bhajumo) leaders protested in the matter. The police then reached the college campus.

A case has been registered on the complaint of Bhajumo provincial leader Gaurav Singh Rajawat and metropolitan president Shailu Pandit. Agra (City) Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar said, "The students have been accused of sharing chats praising Pakistan. A case has been registered at Jagdishpura police station on the basis of a written complaint.''
