Agra: Head Arun Singh, head constable Akhilesh, constables Dharmendra, Sushil and Anil were suspended on Saturday as they got into physical violence with an oil trader Mangiram Chaudhary of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, took him into illegal custody and sealed the goods without any investigation. They were also accused of snatching 23 thousand rupees. In this connection, a complaint was done to ADG zone Ajay Anand.
The same case was investigated by the IPS trainee. The allegations were found to be true in the investigation. On Saturday late night, SSP Bablu Kumar took action on the orders of ADG. The case was also addressed to the Union Minister. Munshi, an oil trader from Jodhpur, was going from Jodhpur to Agra via Bhopal on September 9, taking goods from Tata 407. The Matador had 15 drums of diesel. It also had a GST bill. According to the charge, at around nine in the morning, the Matador arrived in the area. Policemen stopped him and demanded one thousand rupees as entry fee.
Also, Munshi and the driver brought Jitendra to the checkpost for not giving the money. Jitendra left after some time. Subsequently, the policemen at the outpost beat up Munshi Mangiram Chaudhary. They also stole 23 thousand rupees from his pocket and sewed the drums. Till about four o'clock in the evening, he was kept in illegal custody. The same case was filed with the MP of Jodhpur and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The case then went to ADG Zone Ajay Anand. He gave the investigation of the case to the trainee IPS. The matter of fighting in the investigation turned out to be correct. The issue of sewing the drum without investigation came to light. The trainee IPS submitted the report to the ADG. With this, police personnel were suspended.
