11 women rescued from seven brothels in Agra, 43 arrested

Agra: The Agra Police has raided seven brothels in the Kashmiri market and arrested 43 people.  Police also arrested 21 women who are allegedly running the business along with 11 men. Agra Police got a tip-off that the brothel was running at the Kashmiri market. The police and members of the institution had been doing raid for four days. The police also became customers. On Friday, a member and a soldier went to the brothel.

At 3 p.m., CO Kotwali Abdul Qadir raided the area with the police force after it was confirmed. Seven brothels were searched one after the other. 32 women and 11 customers were apprehended from here. The police brought all of them to police station Kotwali by vehicles. The police action stirred up the area. A large number of people gathered. On the information, the Salvation Officer, Mindar Singh, came. He questioned the arrested women. 

According to the police, 21 women are accused in this case. They will be produced before the court. The aggrieved women will be sent to the women protection home on a court order. The police interrogation revealed that 11 women were forcibly pushed into the flesh trade. She had been imprisoned on the chambers for a long time. These include women from West Bengal including Agra, Meerut. They range in age from 25 to 35 years. The women, who were caught by the chambers, stormed the police station. She alleged that the business was running in connivance with the police. Recovery is made from the chambers. When the money is stopped, the raid is conducted. They are being harassed. The case is under investigation.
