Patna: Nitish Kumar is in question due to cases already registered against cabinet ministers in his government in Bihar. First, the Law Minister of Bihar and now the Agriculture Minister have increased the controversy due to the cases registered against them. Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Sudhakar Singh has said that he will not resign. He has also denied the allegations of corruption against him.

In fact, Sudhakar Singh has been accused of being involved in the rice scam. There was a rice scam in Bihar in 2013-2014. It is alleged that Sudhakar Singh did not collect rice and embezzled it. A case was also registered against Sudhakar Singh at Ramgarh police station. The matter is still pending. A day after taking the oath, there was a ruckus about the new Law Minister of Bihar, Kartikeya Singh.

In fact, a case of kidnapping has been registered against Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA and now Law Minister Kartikey Singh. A surrender warrant was issued against Kartikeya Singh in court on August 16. It is alleged that he did not surrender in court, taking oath as a cabinet minister on August 16. The first cabinet expansion of the Nitish-Tejashwi government in Bihar took place on Tuesday. Due to this, 31 MLAs took oaths as ministers. There are a total of 33 faces in the cabinet, including CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. Of the 33 ministers in the Bihar cabinet, 23 (72 per cent) have criminal cases against them. According to the report of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), 72 per cent of the 33 ministers in the new government of Bihar, i.e. 23, have reported criminal cases against themselves. Not only this, 53 per cent of them i.e. 17 have serious criminal cases against them. The ADR has analysed the affidavits filed with the Election Commission of 32 out of 33 cabinet members, including Nitish Kumar.
