The remand of Ratul Puri, who is facing investigation in the AgustaWestland chopper money laundering case, has been extended for five more days. But an eight-day remand was sought by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Along with this, there was an objection from the ED on meeting Ratul Puri's friend Niyamat Bakshi in custody.

During the hearing, ED's lawyer DP Singh has said that Niyamat Bakshi is a friend of Ratul Puri, although he is also a suspect in the case. Whereas Ratul Puri will be introduced on 16 September. He is currently on a 5-day remand.

According to the information received, some important papers were recovered during the raid and Ratul Puri will be directly negotiated with an important witness in the case KK Khosla and will be questioned. While Ratul's lawyer Vijay Aggarwal has told the court that the ED is again seeking 8 days remand. According to Vijay Agarwal, who is showing the documents of the Enforcement Directorate officials saying that they were recovered from Ratul Puri here, we cannot see those documents.
