Kabul: The Taliban, a terror group, has made a big claim that it has also taken control of the Panjsheer Valley, north of Afghanistan's capital Kabul. But Ahmad Masood, the army's military commander who is fighting the Taliban, has denied the terror group's claims.

Ahmed Masood tweeted, "False reports of Panjsheer's victory are circulating in the Pakistani media. If they win Panjsheer, that day will be my last day in Panjsheer, Inshallah.'' Tell you that Masood and his army are fighting a fierce battle with the Taliban over the Panjsheer Valley. Former Vice President Amrullah Saleh is also the leader of the force. Saleh said his army has not yet laid down arms. Earlier, reports of his exodus had also surfaced, but he has dismissed the reports.

In a video message, Saleh said that both sides have suffered a lot. He said, 'There's no doubt we're in a difficult situation. We are facing Taliban aggression. But we won't surrender, we stand for Afghanistan.' He said he was sharing videos to reassure people that reports of him leaving the country are baseless.
