AHMEDABAD: A marriage in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has jumped into the Sabarmati river and committed suicide. She also shared a video on social media before suicide, in which she said that whatever life she got, is relaxed. Now she wants to meet God. The police arrived on the spot after the incident and filed a case and started the investigation. Aisha said in her video, 'Hello, my name is Aisha Arif Khan. Whatever I am going to do, I am going to do is what I wish to do it. There is no pressure on me to do this. Understand that this was the life given by God and I found this life very relaxed. And dad, how long will you fight? withdraw the case.'

Aisha further said, 'If you want to love, let it be two-sided. There is nothing to be gained from one-sided love. Love is incomplete even after marriage. O beloved river, love me, and whatever is behind my back, please do not spoil it. I am like wind, just want to keep flowing. And won't stop for anyone, I am happy that the answers I wanted have been found today and I have told here in this video what I had to say. Thank you, remember me in prayers. Do not know, if I will get heaven or not. Let's go, bye'

In fact, Liaqat Makrani, father of Aisha Arif Khan, who lives in Ahmedabad and by profession, said that his daughter was married to Arif Khan in 2018 in Jalore (Rajasthan). The father alleges that she was tortured for dowry after marriage and so she committed suicide.
