Mumbai: 10 people have died in a fire at the Civil Hospital in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Many people have been caught in the fire. It is reported that 13-14 persons have been injured due to this fire. Treatment of 17 people was going on in the ICU. These 17 persons are corona infected. The treatment of the people who got hit by the fire has been started.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, "Five lakh rupees each have been announced to the next of kin of those who died in a fire at Ahmednagar district hospital. The district collector has been ordered to investigate the incident and submit a report within a week.'' PM Narendra Modi, President and Home Minister have condoled the fire at Ahmednagar hospital. Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, "Deeply saddened by the heart-rending incident in a fire at The Civil Hospital in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this time of grief and pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured.''

President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, "The news of the death of persons due to fire at the civil hospital in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra is very sad. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.''
