AIFF seeks clarification from I League clubs

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has asked 3 clubs of the I-League to clarify with them about the plan ahead till 5 August. AIFF has said that after evaluating the papers, a final decision is going to be taken. The three clubs from which clarification has been sought include Sudev FC of New Delhi, Rintih AC of Shillong, and Srinidhi FC Club of Visakhapatnam.

A bid has been made after the AIFF invited interested parties to fill the vacancy vacated by Mohun Bagan. Mohun has merged with Indian Super League (ISL) champion ATK. AIFF said in a statement, "Members of the All India Football Federation and representatives of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) held a video conference, attended by these three future clubs - Sudeva FC (Delhi), Srinidhi FC (Visakhapatnam) and Rinatih and submitted its report after evaluating the bids."

According to the statement, "After examining the documents and presentations submitted by the 3 concerned bidders, the committee has asked the PwC to give further clarifications to the bidders by August 5. Final decision after evaluating further documents will be taken. "
