New Delhi: Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country. More than 35,000 new cases have been registered and 172 people have died in the last 24 hours. Experts have expressed concern over the rising corona speed. Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, Delhi AIIMS said that we are moving towards the second wave, there is a need to increase the speed of vaccination.

In an interview, Dr Randeep Guleria said that giving vaccine to at-risk people will bring down the death figures. He said that we need to provide at least 50 lakh doses a day, and there is a need to conduct awareness campaigns on vaccination, especially in rural areas. Dr. Randeep Guleria, AIIMS director, said that the situation has not yet gone unchecked, we just have to try again the lessons learnt last year, strictly adhere to corona rules, insist on testing, tracking and isolation, insist on greater testing, isolate those who are positive cases.

AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria said that elderly people need to be brought to vaccination centres, providing transport facility for them, especially in rural areas. Awareness campaigns should be conducted in rural areas to end the reluctance of vaccine.
