New Delhi: Corona infection was found in the resident doctor of AIIMS Department of Physiology and his pregnant wife. Now the infection has also been confirmed in his brother. He has been admitted to the Trauma Center of AIIMS. The resident doctor, who infected two people from his own home, had neither traveled abroad recently nor was he included in the Kovid medical team.
According to the information, the health department was looking for the reason of his infection for three days. According to the department, the resident doctor went to Markaj located in Nizamuddin two weeks ago. However, the department is not aware of whether he had participated in the religious event or not. A few days after returning from Markaz, symptoms of corona started appearing in him. Even after this, he kept ignoring it. He had also joined the Farewell party a few days before the retirement of a senior AIIMS professor. During this time, he used to travel from his Hauranirani residence to AIIMS by DTC bus. The department is now busy in tracing all the people going to that DTC. On the other hand, AIIMS management has not commented on the resident doctor going to Markaj located in Nizamuddin.
Two infected patients in trauma center: Two corona infected patients have been admitted to the trauma center of AIIMS on Saturday. One of these residents is the brother of the doctor. At the same time, the resident doctor and his wife have been kept in isolation in the private ward. His newborn is also here. AIIMS has arranged isolation for its staff here. According to the information, the other infected patients in the trauma center are members of the Lokpal. A total of four patients are admitted in AIIMS at present. A total of 157 patients are admitted in AIIMS National Cancer Center in Jhajjar. Most of them are related to Markaz.
