Hyderabad: PM Narendra Modi is reaching Hyderabad on Saturday, April 8. Here, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth more than Rs 11,300 crore in Telangana, along with flagging off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express. Official sources have informed us that on his visit to Hyderabad, PM Modi will also address a public meeting at the Parade Ground here. Along with this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bibinagar and five national highway projects near Hyderabad.
Along with this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station and dedicate other development projects related to railways to the nation. Notably, the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express connecting Hyderabad to the temple town of Lord Venkateswara at Tirupati is the second Vande Bharat train to be introduced from Telangana in less than 3 months. With the introduction of this train, the travel time between the two cities will be reduced by about three and a half hours, which will be especially beneficial for the pilgrims. Along with this, Rs 720 crore will be used to rejuvenate the Secunderabad railway station. It is being told that this railway station will be equipped with world-class facilities, like a luxurious airport.
A press release issued by the Railways on Thursday informed that during the visit, PM Modi will flag off 13 new Multi-Modal Transport Service (MMTS) services in the suburban section of the Hyderabad-Secunderabad region, which will provide faster, more convenient, and faster travel to commuters. Will provide comfortable travel options. Along with this, PM Modi will also dedicate to the nation the doubling and electrification of the Secunderabad-Mahbubnagar project. Spread over a distance of more than 85 km, this project has been completed at a cost of about Rs 1,410 crore. The project will provide seamless connectivity and help increase the average speed of trains.
As per reports, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad, in a public function at Parade Ground. An official release had earlier said that this is testimony to the Prime Minister's vision of strengthening the health infrastructure across the country. Along with this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for national highway projects worth more than Rs 7,850 crore. These road projects will strengthen the road connectivity between both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
