Recently, MP Asaduddin Owaisi has opposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Ayodhya. He said, 'PM's participation in the Bhoomi Pujan program as Prime Minister in Ayodhya would be a violation of the Prime Minister's constitutional oath.' Owaisi is the President of AIMIM. He said in a tweet, 'secularism is part of the basic structure of the Constitution'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Ayodhya on August 5.

There he is going to participate in the Bhoomi Pujan program for the construction of Ram temple. The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has invited many people associated with the Ram temple movement. On the other hand, if sources are to be believed, they say that the number of guests in Ayodhya has been limited to 200 due to Corona infection. Now all preparations are being done for the Prime Minister's visit to Ayodhya at this time. The entire plan related to this has been given to the PMO. Amidst all this, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi has questioned the visit and tweeted addressing the Prime Minister's Office.

He wrote in his tweet, "The Prime Minister's official participation in the Bhoomi Pujan program would be a violation of his constitutional oath. Secularism is part of the basic structure of the Constitution." Owaisi further said, 'we cannot forget that Babri stood in Ayodhya for 400 years and in 1992 it was demolished by a criminal mob.' Although this is not the first time, even before this, Owaisi has given controversial statements in Ayodhya case many times.
