Indore's Devi Ahilyabai to launch first international flight from airport on 15th July

Indore: The first international flight from the city's Devi Ahilyabai airport will begin from July 15. The Air India flight will fly from Indore to Dubai. It will depart at 4.40 p.m. and arrive at 7.10 p.m. Air India has started selling tickets from Monday.

As per the schedule issued by Air India, the flight will depart from Indore on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for three days a week. After a two-and-a-half hour journey, the aircraft will fly from Dubai to Indore the next day. Travellers will have to pay around 14 thousand rupees for the Yatra. On May 29, the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport received the status of an international airport.

At the same time, the Central Government had formally approved the international flight at Indore airport by allowing immigration check posts. There has been enthusiasm among the people about this flight for the past several days. With the city being the first foreign-bound airport, the number of visitors may be higher.
