New Delhi: Due to the presence of dogs, An Air India flight from Mumbai to Goa could not land on the Dabolim runway in the first attempt. Passengers panicked as the first attempt did not succeed in landing. However, the aircraft landed after the second attempt. All passengers are safe.

For information, the ATC or the Air Traffic Controller reported the presence of stray dogs on Tuesday night. No dog was seen on the runway by the runway controller due to darkness, which delayed the landing of the flight.

The passenger, Govind Gankar, has claimed that he was on a flight from Mumbai to Goa and claimed that the landing was stopped a few moments before the 'touchdown' by the pilot after seeing the dogs. He further tweeted that the plane had landed about 15 minutes later. On questioning the pilot, he said there were five to six dogs on the runway. It's absolutely disturbing. Upon contact, an official at Goa airport said the alleged incident would be investigated.

These amendments are done by the government in the Swachh Bharat Mission!
