New Delhi: A video of an Air India plane stranded under a foot overbridge in Delhi is currently going viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place near Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital on the Delhi-Gurgaon highway. In a clip of about 40-seconds, you can see how other vehicles are passing by him and the Air India plane is stuck on one side of the road.

The video clearly shows the plane stuck in the middle of the bridge. Meanwhile, only half of the body of the aircraft was able to pass under the foot overbridge while half of its body was stuck. However, soon after the video of the plane stuck under the bridge went viral, the airline confirmed that there had been no accidents and that it was a bad aircraft being transported. Airlines on the other hand said the aircraft was being taken by its new owner who bought it from Air India.

"This is an old, damaged aircraft that we have already sold," an Air India spokesperson was quoted as saying in a conversation with a well-known website. There is no additional information, it only involves the person who has been sold it. Further, he said, "The aircraft is definitely not related to the Delhi airport fleet... It is being carried without any wings. It seems to be a bad aircraft and the driver may have made a wrong assessment while carrying it.”
