New Delhi: Corona is wreaking havoc on aviation companies as well. There are frequent reports of airlines cutting their employees' salaries. Now Air India has suspended the contract of 200 of its pilots. After retirement, these pilots were again given a job in Air India.
It is noteworthy that Air India had already decided to cut the salary of all its employees by 10 percent for the next three months. After this, recently aviation company SpiceJet decided to cut the salary of its employees by 10 to 30 percent. According to the news agency PTI, an Air India official said that almost all the planes are standing on the ground, due to which the company's earnings have been severely hurt in the last few weeks. Therefore, the airlines have decided to temporarily suspend the contracts of 200 of their pilots who were recruited after retirement.
Let us tell you that due to Corona, almost one-third of the countries including India are in lockdown situation. In such a situation, it has broken into a rage for the travel and tourism industry. Air travel in India is also completely banned.
