New Delhi: It does not take long to change the time. There was a time when it was like a dream for people to travel by flight. But now the time has come when travelling on a flight has become much cheaper than hiring a taxi. The lockdown has changed the equations of travel across the country. There are many routes where flights can be taken at very low fare.

At any time if you want to come to Delhi from Dharamshala in Himachal, then the taxi fare is between 10-12 thousand rupees. Even today, the taxi fare is the same. But if you take a flight from here, a flight ticket will cost between 2-3 thousand rupees. Which means around 80 percent less fare. Similarly, if you want to come from Lucknow to Delhi, 6 to 9 thousand rupees is charged by taxi. You will get a flight ticket from Lucknow to Delhi for just Rs 3000. Flight tickets here are priced at less than half.

According to the information given by co-founder Ricant Pitti of well-known travel portal EaseMyTrip.com, flights going from Delhi to other cities are full. But airlines are not getting passengers in return. This is the reason that most of the airlines have kept their ticket prices extremely low. For passengers who want to go to Delhi and Mumbai, travelling by flight is a very profitable deal.
