Airbnb, a Community-driven hospitality company yesterday declared about the new set of mandatory security measures, including multi-factor authentication to prevent account takeovers.
As per reported by The Verge as per the sources news the user logging in with new devices have to verify themselves with a second account, either via SMS or email.
If a stranger gets access to user account then with the latest update installed and implemented then they will get SMS alerts, enabling them to stay up to date with changes made to their account.
