Microsoft owned start-up Airmap have launched a new software that manages the air traffic. This new firm has become the worldwide supplier of air-traffic management software.
Microsoft owns various groups which are categorized as the aerospace giants like- Airbus, chipmaker Qualcomm, Japanese tech firms Rakuten and Sony and China’s Yuneec, a top drone maker. Airmap is planning to expand its market in Berlin and at the NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley.
AirMap Chief Executive Ben Marcus said, "This round is all about finding a set of partners to help us globalize.”
