The Finland based ace mobile phone maker, Nokia has now cut a deal with the largest telecom network of India- Airtel. Nokia India has been provided with $230 million 4G deal in nine telecom service area.
“We have a long history of working with Bharti Airtel and with this latest agreement we have become the largest supplier of 4G for the company,” Sanjay Malik, Head of India Market at Nokia said in a statement.
Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rest of Bengal, Odisha, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kerala and UP East, are the states and areas where Nokia will deploy their 4G network technology to spread the Airtel network for expansion.
The value of the deal is not yet confirmed by any of the dealing parties. Also 3G services will be fed under this deal for the betterment of network.
