Mumbai: In Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena has entered into an alliance with the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA). Regarding this, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar said that NCP has no objection against VBA. He said that it is for the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) to decide with whom it wants to form an alliance.

Let us tell you that when Uddhav Thackeray formed an alliance with Prakash Ambedkar's party, there were reports that Congress and NCP were angry with this. Talking to the media about this, the senior NCP leader said, ''We have never raised our objection against the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, which has allied with the Shiv Sena (UBT). Unnecessary assumptions should not be made on this matter."

Along with this, Pawar said that it is the preference of Shiv Sena to decide with whom it wants to form an alliance and share seats from its quota. There is no point in criticizing each other for what happened in the last elections. You will have to chalk out a new strategy for the next election and adopt a political stand accordingly. He said Shiv Sena (UBT) has a strong network of party workers in Mumbai and we had already informed them that NCP wanted to contest the civic polls with it. Commenting on Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari writing a letter to PM Narendra Modi instead of the President about his desire to quit, Pawar said since he was appointed by the Prime Minister, the Governor must have communicated with him.
