During a media interaction, Ajit said, "The Constitution has given us the right to freedom of expression. But people have to keep in mind what impact they are saying will have on society. The NCP leader said Sharad Pawar has been in politics for almost 60 years. He never made unnecessary statements against anyone, while he himself was criticized many times and there were many allegations against him. At the same time, Ajit Pawar termed Chitale as having a distorted mindset.''

In this case, the Maharashtra Police has arrested two people, including the Marathi actress. According to the information received, the arrest has been made in connection with the alleged derogatory post on Facebook about the NCP chief and one of the accused is said to be a student. Marathi film and television actress Ketaki Chitale was arrested by the Thane police from Navi Mumbai.
