Ajmer: After the life sentence of Jammu and Kashmir terrorist Yasin Malik, the seneschal of the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, Rajasthan, has termed it as a punishment of deeds. Ajmer Sharif seneschal Januel Abedin has justified Yasin Malik's sentence and called it the independence of the judiciary.

The seneschal and spiritual head of the Dargah, Syed Signal Abedin Ali Khan, issued a statement via a tweet saying that Yasin Malik is being punished for his crimes after going through the entire judicial process. "India's justice system has once again proved its wisdom, freedom and transparent image, which is appreciated by the whole world.''

Khan further wrote in his tweet, "Malik carried out terrorist acts by instigating terrorism in India. He snatched books from the hands of innocent Kashmiris and forcibly gave them guns in their hands and made them terrorists. He said Yasin has been punished for his deeds, while Yasin Malik's sentence has also exposed the terror-loving face of Pakistan.'' The NIA court has sentenced terrorist Yasin Malik to life imprisonment in several cases related to terrorism.
