Lucknow: Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri passed away last Monday. According to reports, Narendra Giri's body was found hanging from the gallows at his Baghambari monastery in Prayagraj. The door of the room where he committed suicide was reportedly locked from inside. Police say she broke open the door and went inside and lost consciousness when she saw the scene. In fact, the body of Mahant Narendra Giri was hanging from the snare inside. A suicide note was also recovered from the spot.

Sources in the case said that the suicide note accused disciple Anand Giri of mental harassment. On the other hand, Haridwar police have taken Anand Giri into custody. Let us also tell all of you that the police said, "In Baghambari Math, where mahant Narendra Giri's body was found hanging from a snare, the gate was found closed from all sides, and we have considered it a suicide on the basis of preliminary investigation. Police also said the forensic team is doing its job.

On the other hand, a heavy police force is still present at the spot. At present, many leaders have also started expressing their condolences. Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has condoled the passing away of Mahant Narendra Giri. In fact, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, "The demise of All India Akhara Parishad President Narendra Giri Ji is an irreparable loss. May God give the virtuous soul the strength to place in his feet and his followers to bear this suffering.'' Apart from him, many other leaders have expressed grief.
