Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde starrer "Most Eligible Bachelor" finally has a release date. The film was scheduled to release on October 8, but the filmmakers opted for a festive release instead. The filmmakers have announced that it will hit the screens on October 15 for Dussehra. Announcing it on social media, Akhil wrote, "In theaters from 15th October. See you all soon. "

In the film, Akhil will play the role of an IT employee while Pooja will play the role of a stand-up comedian. All the promotional material of the film including the songs and the teaser was well received. There were rumors that the film might hit OTT but the filmmakers opted for a theatrical release instead. The film was supposed to hit the screens long back but the release kept getting postponed due to two waves of the coronavirus pandemic.

Akhil will soon also be seen in a spy thriller directed by Surendra Reddy, titled Agent. The actor underwent a change for the role. Pooja Hegde will be seen in Radha Krishna Kumar's Radhe Shyam and Koratala Shiva's Acharya alongside Mahesh Babu besides Trivikram Srinivas. Further details are awaited.
