Prayagraj: The Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad is preparing to take major action against former Union Minister Chinmayanand arrested in the case of rape and sexual exploitation of a student. After the meeting of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, the President of the Council, Mahant Narendra Giri, has said that during the meeting to be held in Haridwar on October 10, a decision will be taken to exclude Chinmayananda from the Sant Samaj. Chinmayananda is Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Akhara.

Mahant Narendra Giri said that Chinmayananda has admitted his mistake in questioning. In such a situation, the saint society is embarrassed by this act. Mahant Narendra Giri said that Chinmayananda Sant Samaj will be ostracized till the whole matter is over. Significantly, SIT arrested Chinmayanand from his ashram in Shahjahanpur on Friday. After the arrest, SIT underwent a medical examination of Chinmayananda at the district hospital, then presented him in court. The court has remanded Chinmayananda to 14 days judicial custody.

At the same time, after the arrest of Swami Chinmayananda, the SIT also arrested three friends of the rape victim and sent them behind bars. The SIT had made it clear that there is strong evidence to demand extortion against the victim, she may also be arrested. There is still a friend of the victim, whose investigation is going on. Meanwhile, the victim has left for Prayagraj. The victim was also constantly afraid of her arrest. At the moment, the victim and her family are not coming before the press.
