Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav has lashed out at the BJP over the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) questioning Rahul Gandhi in Basti. Akhilesh said that we are people who do politics. They have to take the test. Just as there is a 10th, 12th exam, similarly, ED is also an exam.
The SP chief has said that ED has now become the meaning of "Examination in Democracy". He tweeted on Wednesday that "ED" now stands for 'Examination in Democracy'. In politics, the opposition has to pass this test. When the government itself fails, it announces this exam. Those whose preparation is good are neither afraid of the written or reading exam nor the oral... and should never be afraid. '
Akhilesh further said that in democracy, the test is taking place and such governments have always been doing, which the government is powerful.
